Help me pick a degree PLEASE!

Help me pick a degree PLEASE!

Help me pick a degree PLEASE!

(OP)
Well I am currently working as a design engineer in the Hydro forming industry. I have been working on my degree in vehicle design right out of highschool. I am 21 now and will be finishing that degree next semester. I now have a better idea what path I want to take but am still a little confused on what all the different degrees are and which one to pick.

I am a very mechanical person, I know alot about the stuff however I really want to broaden my horizons I have been strongly considering the path to mechatronics. But to get there you have to start somewhere and that is where I am at right now. I am trying to decide between getting a bleachers in EE or CE. Could anyone please explain to me what the differences are as what I thought the two were does not seem to be accurate. I don't need or want to be a hardcore programmer however I would like to learn the basics primarily in logic controllers. Will this be taught in both degrees?

Please any help with this big decision would be appreciated.

RE: Help me pick a degree PLEASE!

Have you talked to your adviser in school? I am sure that there is someone at your school that knows you and could give you better advice. I would also recommend doing research and see what other schools offer too. Maybe what you want isn't offered at your school? There are a lot of websites out there of different schools like: https://www.purdueonlineengineering.com/ or http://see.stanford.edu/

Bleacher?

I assume CE is Computer Engineering? But, I'm confused, since you seem to be indicating that your background is mechanical, so why EE or CE? And why would you pick a discipline just for what would be at most a 1 yr class?
