Connection of Sprinkler

Connection of Sprinkler

Connection of Sprinkler

(OP)
i have a problem in instaling sprinkler.
i have a 4" header then a branch of 1 1/2" and then a branch of 1"
the drop point of sprinkler is out because of unscaling of drawing so i used flexible copper pipe of 1/2" to position of the Sprinkler at the droping point of 1" Pipe.
is it Safe?
is it allowed in NFPA?

RE: Connection of Sprinkler

You are not allowed to use 1/2" copper pipe in fire sprinkler systems. The smallest non-ferrous piping to be used is 3/4". The smallest ferrous pipe is 1".
