I am new to valves & I request any one to help me by informing me if the above is OK

RE: Trim 10
Trim 10 means that the material, the seat and the wedge are all SS316, so the offer seems to be correct.
here's an overview of API trims: http://alloyvalves.blog.com/alloy-valves/api-trims/
My focus: Alloy Valves in duplex, super duplex, alloy 20, monel, inconel, incoloy, hastelloy, titanium, 904L, zirconium and uranus Valve Stockist Valvulas
RE: Trim 10
Many thanks for your valuable advise. Further, please find below my comments:
As you can see below, the manufacturer is offering LCB+316 overlay for wedge & LF2+316 overlay for seat instead of solid 316. He is offering solid 316 only for stem. Is this acceptable as per API-600. Please advise.
Wedge: LCB+316
Stem: F316
Seat: LF2+316

RE: Trim 10
What's different about this material than what you posted on October 23? It appears to be identical. Do you think that two different posters are going to give you two different answers? If so, which one will you believe, if you don't know the answer yourself (and how much can you really trust anonymous folks over the internet anyways?)
Didn't hsbcn provide you a link to the API trims so you could check the API trims yourself? Don't you think that's the best way to make a decision?
RE: Trim 10
I did not get a clear advise from the members of this forum. hsbcn sent me a link to trims, but it mentions that trim 10 is 316SS. My manufacturer is offering me an overlay of 316 & not a solid 316. My question is if we can accept this overlay. If you can help me, please advise me. I apologize for the trouble.
RE: Trim 10
Simply put, I can't make the decision for you. What's being offered to you is a Trim 10 valve. Now it's up to you to decide whether it's acceptable or not.
RE: Trim 10
Please advise if the below combination is Trim 10
Wedge: LCB+316
Stem: F316
Seat: LF2+316
This would be API Trim 10. The API standards do not require solid 316. If your minimum requirement is that the valve meet API Trim 10 then this is acceptable. However if the customer has a requirement that the disc be solid 316 then it's not.
