Associative Angle in WCS XY plane
Associative Angle in WCS XY plane
(OP)
Is it possible to get an associative angle measurement using Datum CSYS's using option 'Anlge in WCS XY plane'? When this option is selected the 'OK' and 'Apply' are not available.

Then pick the axis that you want as the rotation axis, then the datum planne that will be your reference, and you will be prompted for an angle.

I do have the associative option checked on, i'm choosing two planes of two different datum csys's...I get a value but no 'OK' or 'apply' to create the Measurement Feature.

RE: Associative Angle in WCS XY plane
As a workaround, you might try creating a datum plane on your current XY plane, create intersection curves between this new plane and your planes of interest, and finally create an associative measurement between these new lines. A bit of a kludge, but might work for what you want.
Perhaps having a way to associate a given plane to the "evaluation plane" option would be a good addition to the measure angle command. You can contact GTAC and have them open an enhancement request (ER) to that effect if you want that option in a future version of NX.
