RE: carbon fiber lining

Hi Pablo,

You may want to look into assigning a composite shell section to a skin created on a 3D geometry (property module) to represent the composite lining.

Hi,

Thanks for clarify but, can you tell me how can I be able to select a skin, in order to assign composite shell properties, because when I tried, abaqus cant let me do that.

Regards
Pablo

RE: carbon fiber lining

When Abaqus prompts you to select a region to assign a section, there is a drop-down menu at the top that is defaulted to Region but you can also select Skin to select the skin(s) you created.
