NX7.5 Show/Hide

NX7.5 Show/Hide

NX7.5 Show/Hide

(OP)
I have a file with several unparametized solid bodies in it.
When I RMC on one of the bodies and click Hide, I get the error The selected bodies are not supported by this operation
But I can hide the solid body when I do it from the toolbar icon or pull-down menu.
If I set my selction menu only to Solid Bodies and then RMC on the body I am able to hide it.
So what I am doing wrong here that I cannot hide my solid body from my mouse button ? I don't think this was an issue on previous versions of NX.

RE: NX7.5 Show/Hide

Without the part file it may be impossible to determine exactly what might be happening. The only thing that I can think of is that when you're not using a filter and you're selecting from the screen without being in the explicit 'Hide' dialog, you may be picking something which is NOT actually the solid body. Try this again, after selecting the body but before you press MB3, see what it says in the status bar. See if it says that you've selected a solid body or something else.
