Millturning conical surface using VARIABLE CONTOUR, have unwrapped the face and created sketch around the bosses to control the tool path AND WRAPPED the sketch back to the conical. Problem Ive encountered is the PROJECTION VECTOR when applying stock. The paths with stock added are not offset normal to the conical surface, the only suitable because the only suitable vector available is TOWARDS LINE.
Other than projecting the curves normal to an series of OFFSET SURFACES to represent the stock is there any other way of offsetting the paths with stock normal to the conical face?

Thanks
