Assembly constraints not working in NX7.5

Assembly constraints not working in NX7.5

Assembly constraints not working in NX7.5

(OP)
Hello All,
I'm on NX 7.5. For some reason when I create an assembly constraint, the constraint appears (yellow in color) but the part never moves to the new position. I do not have any kind of delay move set that I can find in the preferences and cannot find what option in the custmer defaults is not set properly. Any ideas?

Thanks,
J

RE: Assembly constraints not working in NX7.5

I have not seen this behaviour. Try Tools - Update - interpart update and see if there is a check on the delay assembly constraints.

Regards,
Tomas

RE: Assembly constraints not working in NX7.5

Can you zip up the assembly and post it?

Thanks Toost,
The "Delay Assembly Constraints" was not checked off but I did an update all anyway and now the assembly contraints work. I don't get it but at least I have a fix next time. Thanks again.

Cid1979,
Unfortunatly the company I work for would not take kindly to sending files out of assemblies. I appreciate the offer to help though and as you read above it seems to be fixed.

Thanks again all.

PS. I posted a thread a couple months ago about the fillet weld operator. Never got an answer. Anyone know anything about that?

Take care,
J.
