Hi everybody,

Which tool you suggest?
The best is Etap, Neplan or another one?

RE: power system analyse tool

Need to be more specific. I do a lot of power system analysis work with Excel and equations from power system analysis.

RE: power system analyse tool

Elplek ( http://pp.kpnet.fi/ijl ) has the best performance/price ratio. It is free.

RE: power system analyse tool

Yes, you can, but test it first.

RE: power system analyse tool

Hi

You need to consider

1- What type of analysis you want to do? Just basic analysis like Power Flow, Short Circuit or more analysis like Harmonics, Motor Starting, Arc Flash,...

2- What type of networks are you working on?
Distribution, Transmission, Industrial?

3- being user-friendly in professional software is important.

have a look at this: http://www.cyme.com/software/

it brings all transmission, industrial and distribution networks analysis on the same platform and according to your needs you will add different analysis module in the future.

If I want to say its like BMW and of course it costs money.

Regards
Ian
