how to select all nodes on an area

how to select all nodes on an area

how to select all nodes on an area

(OP)
Hello,

I´m using ANSYS mechanical 13, and I want to know how can I select all nodes on an area. I need to do this in order to plot results only for the nodes in that area, finding the maximum value.
Can anyone help?

regards,
Hugo

RE: how to select all nodes on an area

Just type:

asel,s,area,,1
esla,s
nsle,s,1

The first line (asel) will select area number 1, so you will need to change this to the area number you want to select. When you plot your results for this area the maximum will appear in the legend.
