Do anybody know how Adams/Vibration calculate the transfer function internally?

(OP)
From the help file, I read that adams/vibration calculate the transfer function with the formula in Modal space form.
But I did a test with a singel DoF spring-mass system. It shows that the transfer function calculated is almost the same with what I deduced according to the formula in state-space form. How to explain this.

By the way, Do anybody know how adams/vibration calculate the transfer function internally? I want to figure out the steps.

thanks !
