How to give my model initial velocity in Adams/View?

How to give my model initial velocity in Adams/View?

(OP)
The pics attached is my model of a twist beam rear axel with 2 wheels. I want to simulate it to run with fluctuated torque. But what I want to measure is the constant velocity phase of the simulation. But it absolutely will cost much time (my step size is 0.001s).

So, I was wondering how to give the whole model initial velocity to skip a lot of acceleration time.

Here is the topology of my model.
a revolute joint connect wheel and suspension;
a parallel_axes primitive joinnt connect chassis and ground;
1 bushing and spring connect suspension and chassis.

here are my questions:
1. I know there is a option in each joint to give initial velocity, but which joint should I give?
2. I don't know why. But I once tried to give initial velocity to the rev joint between wheel and suspension, the model still ran from static.

Can anybody answer my question???
thx!!

RE: How to give my model initial velocity in Adams/View?

For a trouble free run starting from a velocity you need to give an appropriate velocity to every part, so in the case of a wheel you'll need to give it both a translational and a rotational velocity. The initial velocities apply to parts not joints.
