Special SMF modeling using RISA

Special SMF modeling using RISA

(OP)
Hello everybody,

I'm new to RISA and am trying to figure out how to draw a special steel moment frame using RISA with concrete beams at the perimeter. I have tried to consult RISA online tutorials and the pdfs but I can't find the exact details that I'm looking for.
Any advice in this regard would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance,
Alok

RE: Special SMF modeling using RISA

You will need to be more specific. How do the concrete beam effect the steel moment frame?

To apply the seismic checks for a steel moment frame you will need to modify the design of the column and beam.
