What is the main reason to lose output since we pass to combined cycle?... backpressure? If someone has a good explanation, it would be great!

RE: Gas Turbines Output lost

Hi JC

I would imagine back pressure is the most likely reason, though I would have thought the waste heat recovery designer would have minimised this as far as possible based on exhaust mass flow rates.

Also is it possible a damper is not functioning correctly?

Cheers

John
