Hole Table Depths

Hole Table Depths

Hole Table Depths

(OP)
Hello All,

I am creating a custom .hol file in WF4. When I create a hole the default depths are calculated by ProE(ie. drill depth=3*drill diameter). Is there a way that I can change either the calculation or set it up in the hole file to have the depths that I want??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE: Hole Table Depths

Not that I am aware of. But the depth is in the dialog box for the hole, so it can be entered as you place the hole.

I think PTC sees this value as just a starting number to populate he field with and don't see any reason to allow a custom depth in the hole table. Since these are threaded holes, the 3x value is usually a good choice from a manufacturing view.
