Hello everyone,

When I create a new product file by the command, File - New - Product, the workbench doesn't goes automatically in the Assembly design workbench, I have to click on
Start - Part design - Assembly Design. Why is it so? Can anyone help? I want when I create the new product file the workbench has to be Assembly design by default.
Are there any settings in Tools - options - ........

Himanshu

RE: Assembly design workbench (by default)

If you have an empty session or currently in Assembly Design and you open the Assembly design workbench (Start -- Mech Design -- Assembly Design), a new product is created automatically. New parts are created if you open GSD, PD,....

Try this as my session starts in the ASD workbench.
Start Catia
Start -- Mech Design -- ASD
Exit Catia

Start Catia
File -- New Product.

You should be in ASD.

Regards,
Derek
