ASME BPVC section 9

ASME BPVC section 9

ASME BPVC section 9

(OP)
I have the ASME BPVC section 9 as well as the section 2 A & C printed editions but have no addenda after 2009. Is this code a 3 year renewal, meaning I need to purchase the code again at this point to be compliant with code provisions?

RE: ASME BPVC section 9

It depends on what you intend to do with the ASME Code book sections. If you are using the code book sections to fabricate pressure retaining items under contract documents you will need to maintain the latest code book section editions. As of 2011, the next publication cycle is 2013 with no addenda. The ASME Code book sections will be on 2 year publication cycles. Code cases and errata are not affected.
