Error message when using "Wave geometry linker"

Error message when using "Wave geometry linker"

Error message when using "Wave geometry linker"

(OP)
Hello,

I am using NX 6.0.3.6 and need help figuring out what is the cause to this error. I am trying to link a solid body in a part using "wave geometry linker"
The error message I get says "A deleted or invalid class id was used Unable to create object. Performing an undo."

I started working from an already existing part, so I guess something strange has followed from that part. How can I solve this? Any suggestions?

Regards

RE: Error message when using "Wave geometry linker"

try a partclean up File ->utilities -> partclean up ( min. 3 times)
or try to replace the wave link feature, create a new wave link -> move this new wave link in the PNT before the error wave link try a replace feature on the error wave link > replace it with the new one.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Regarding your second tip: I don't even get a waved link feature. As you can see in my first post, the last sentence in the error message is "performing an undo".
So nothing gets created when I try to link the body. But I will try to do a partclean up and see if it helps.

What is it exactly that I should clean up? :)

I tried to clean up both "clean feature data" and "clean interoart links" and it seemed to work :)

Thank you very much. gonna try to clean only one of the previcious two mentioned and see if it works.

Thanks again
