Displacement Time History

(OP)
Hi,
I have modeled a "fixed base Single degree of freedom element" in SAP, but at the base there exist a two joint link with zero length, representing a spring at the base.

I am trying to apply a displacement time history at the base, according to this link:
https://wiki.csiberkeley.com/display/kb/Manual+mul...

Procedure is exactly based on what has been described in this link, but interestingly after analysis, just the support, where DTH was applied, moves and whole structure will remain still!
Does anyone encounter such problem?

Many Thanks
