Warning: NB Cracking down on Font Size

Warning: NB Cracking down on Font Size

Hi All,

Just an FYI - font size must be >=8 for regular text or >=7 in tables for all forms submitted to the NB. We just had NB return 100+ U1 reports back to us because the font size used was too small. We've been using the same font sizes for 10+ years without any issues. According to our AI this is a new thing that NB is cracking down on. Unfortunately they never sent out any sort of notice to manufacturers. So now we have to spend a few days to retype and re-sign all those forms. Just a heads up for everyone else...

RE: Warning: NB Cracking down on Font Size

Have you considered filing your reports online using the NB forms on their website?

Good point. We have considered it but we also do a lot of P2A forms which are not available for EDT. Our QA manager didn't want to implement different systems for different forms.
