Finned tubes bundle

Finned tubes bundle

(OP)
I know the Zukauskas’ correlation for bare tubes bundles, but I’m now looking for a correlation valid for forced convection across finned tubes bundles (staggered and in-line arrangement).

Thanks

RE: Finned tubes bundle

Probably HTRI helps on it.

Ione,

Try www.wlv.com section 3.6

RE: Finned tubes bundle

Refer "Fundamentals of Heat Exchanger Design" by R K Shah & D P Sekulic. I have found this book very useful, especially for extended surface coolers.

RE: Finned tubes bundle

Ione,

You might also check with Finned Tube Tech in the Tulas area. They used to have the complete Escoa Design Manual available for download. No longer online. However, I think you might need to talk with someone there to get a copy. It's an excellent resource.

Speco (www.stoneprocess.com)
