run a journal with the special command

(OP)
Hi , I have tried to run af journal (VB) by using the environment variable USER_RETRIEVE= (open part),
and the enviroment variable USER_FILE= (save part).

(The value for the variables is the entire path to the journal(*.vb))

But I get the message "Failed to load image - see log file for details".

If I use a grip-program (*.grx) , there is no problem to run it .

Maybe someone here on the board know, if it should be possible to run *.vb or *.dll executable´s from the
USER_RETRIEVE or USER_FILE variables ?

RE: run a journal with the special command

Are they situated onto a network drive or are the journals situated onto your local hard disk? There could be a problem with the security settings of your system. You need to give permission to execute the programs within dot net. Should look at the commando caspol.

Best regards,

Michaël.
