Slow Mapkeys

Slow Mapkeys

Slow Mapkeys

(OP)
I just upgraded my video card to the PNY/Nvidia XGL 700, supporting 2 monitors.

It's great, but my mapkeys are slow!  All the drop-down menus and pop-up menus take forever to pull up, so my more complicated mapkeys aren't as 'instant' as they used to be.  I have to wait a couple of seconds while all the menus and checkboxes happen.

I've checked my OpenGL settings (but i'm not really sure what they need to be), have maximum hardware acceleartion, etc... but i'm not really sure what the graphics cards setting are supposed to be.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks,
an

RE: Slow Mapkeys

I can't help you with your setup etc, but a usefull config.pro option is visable_mapkeys. If you are useing the right hand side menu in your mapkeys, then picks on it will not be displayed. It may speed up your mapkeys a little, unfortunatley it does not work on the pull down menus, so it is of limited use.

Disco Steve.
