Translate Welds from SolidWorks 2011 to Ansys Workbench 14

Translate Welds from SolidWorks 2011 to Ansys Workbench 14

(OP)
I am using Ansys 14 workbench to run an FEA from an assembly created in SolidWorks 2011. The model created in SolidWorks 2011 has many bead welds on it. (These welds were added using the "Weld Bead" command in SolidWorks, found under "Assembly Features") I am wondering if Ansys loads the bead welds into it when I open the SolidWorks file in Ansys Workbench, and if they affect the FEA results. I would like Ansys to run FEA using the welds. If I cannot import the welds from SolidWorks, can I add them using Ansys? Thanks for your help!
