Journal to select line, and create arc or square?

Journal to select line, and create arc or square?

Journal to select line, and create arc or square?

(OP)
Good Morning,

I am new to NX and VB journaling, and am needing to write some journal or macro for NX7.5:

I need to be able to select a line, and have the journal read the line information.
If the line is not a centerline, then I need a warning message sent to the screen stating this, and have the user click OK and then continue with the program.
If the line is a "yellow" centerline, then I need the program to create (2) .050 circles, centered on the line, one circle .150 in from each end point.
If the line is a "fuschia" centerline, then I need the program to create (2) .050 squares, centered on the line, one square .150 in from each end point.
Also, when the squares are created, they need to remain at zero degrees, no matter what angle the fuschia centerline is at.
When I am done selecting lines, I need to be able to quit out of the program.
This needs to be done in "Sheet Metal", not in Drafting, as I am doing this with the Flat-Pattern.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
hppianoman

A small example part file showing your desired end result would be helpful.
