Dimensional Wear Cooefficient
Dimensional Wear Cooefficient
(OP)
Hello all,
I have a metallic material and I would like to find out the "dimensional wear cooefficient" of the material in the units mm^3/Nmm.
Does anyone know if and how this is possible?
Thank-you.

I agree, the variations will be massive I was thinking that this could be achieved by using a pin on disk testing machine, but the variations would be huge and dependant on a number of factors as you say.
Thanks again, your input is much appreciated. I think this is a really important topic for engineers.
