Suppress a part using the variable table using Solid Edge ST4

(OP)
Hello,

I have a seat valve with a nose diameter of 6" and nose depth of 1/4". I want to create a formuala in the variable table that states if there is no nose diameter then suppress the nose diameter and depth on the part. Currently on my design I created a cutout command for the nose diameter and depth hoping that will help but I don't know if it's possible.

RE: Suppress a part using the variable table using Solid Edge ST4

If Your design is not a synchronous model maybe You can use the add suppression variable Right click mouse over the feature You want to suppress and select that option, The add suppression variable can be use more than once and can be combined with the use of Conditional statements.

Here´s a video

And I can share You the Solid Edge part if you want to download and give it a try (Solid Edge)
