Hi All, we developed a material, SM-100, over the past few years with NASA that they literally call "corrosion proof" - with equally impressive wear properties. Uses include bearings, valve seats and other components, etc.

We're at a point now where we're looking for consulting help in finding niche corrosive applications that also exhibit wear requirements (possibly valves, seals, sub-sea pumps, etc). These type of people don't exactly show up in an Internet search unfortunately.

Any leads on who we could talk to would be great.

Basically yes, but they have to be technical and have the connections already.

What have you done to date? Have you are are you associated with any industry associatons such as NACE? Do you have any other track record other than NASA?

This material is similar to a titanium alloy (since it essentially is). All data on it can be seen at:

Might be good for some applications, but I would read the paper above for properties first.
