Cannot import V5 files into V6

Cannot import V5 files into V6

Cannot import V5 files into V6

(OP)
Hello all,

I recently installed CATIA V6 after using V5 for awhile. V6 is up and running, but I cannot import any of my work from V5. Every time I try and import a file it gives me the following error, "Error trying to save data imported. Security Information: You do not have the access right to proceed with this operation for the current maturity state of the object. Contact your security administrator to understand why you have restricted access right on this object for the current maturity state."

I messed around with the settings in Enovia, but it hasn't fixed anything. I am at a total loss here and cannot access any of my V5 work!!! Any help is very much appreciated!

RE: Cannot import V5 files into V6

It's an access issue, which role are you using? If I'm not mistaken you need to have either a leader or administrator role to be able to import or export. You can also add specific access rights but I'm not so familiar with that procedure.

Thanks Azrael, I tried changing my access privileges in enovia giving myself administrator rights et cetera, but it keeps giving me the same error when it tries to save the imported files.

RE: Cannot import V5 files into V6

What kind of role have you assigned?

RE: Cannot import V5 files into V6

If remember right there are two sets of of roles, one set for VPM users (you) and another set for enterprise users.
