can you change tolerances with expressions

can you change tolerances with expressions

can you change tolerances with expressions

(OP)
Using nx 8. Is there a way I can use an expression to tolerance. I have to use MIN/MAX style dimensioning. I know you can replace the dimension with text, but that can lead to errors.

RE: can you change tolerances with expressions

I don't think so, but you could do it with in the appended text with two lines of text, if that's the type of dimension that will be dispplayed

Two Lines Of Text
<Tr!s>
"r" and "s" are two lines of text displayed one line over the other, usually positive, real numbers that cannot contain any control characters except <Rn!d> or <Qn!d> to insert fractions.

example:
<T+0.010!-0.005>

and then replace the number values with the expression valuees as with any expression in a line of text
