ASME SA235 Gr P2

Does anyone know what material ASME SA235 Gr P2 is? It is called out as a seamless pipe on an old 1964 U1-form. If I had to guess it would be 1/2Cr 1/2Mo, but I have not had success finding it (is it similar to SA335 P2?).

RE: ASME SA235 Gr P2

According to my 1968 ASTM book, A 235 was a Specification for Carbon Steel Forgings for Industrial Use. It was withdrawn in 1975. There is no P2 designation, there is Class A, untreated, Class C,C1 and E, annealed, normalized, or normalized and tempered.
Class F, normalized and tempered, Class F1, normalized and tempered or double normalized and tempered and Class G, quenched and tempered, or normalized, quenched and tempered.

The above pertain to size and strength level requirements for carbon steel forgings.

Thanks for the help. I think it is probably a typo on the U1 form....should be fun.
