hi we have a steel tank being placed on a concrete foundation slab which is piled. how do you account for any differential movement due to temperature if at all. tank is not fixed to concrete by any bolting

RE: steel tank on concrete differential expansion

If the tank is not fixed to the foundation, why are you worried?

Also, this must be a shallow wide tank for no bolting considering wind and seismic.

RE: steel tank on concrete differential expansion

Differential movement is not usually a consideration.
