ASME Code Case

ASME Code Case

(OP)
Does anyone have or know where to locate ASME code case 2714 "Application of the ASME Certification Mark?".....this must be put on the MDR for vessels designed to Sec VIII in order to continue using the "U" stamp (Valid until Jan. 01, 2013).

Thanks.

RE: ASME Code Case

Yes. If you purchased ASME Code books you should have a copy or can access one by asme.org web site.

RE: ASME Code Case

david3393333, I think you're good if you reference the code Case 2714 on the Manufacturer's Data Report. However, if you're wanting the official title, it's "Application of the ASME Certification Mark Section VIII‚ Divisions 1‚ 2‚ and 3." It doesn't say much more than what you said in your original post.
