I have a Kollmorgen U12M4HT servo disc motor that I want to operate at a power output that requires forced air cooling.  The power curves that I have indicate that I need two pounds per minute.  Does anyone know how this air is to be directed?  Does it have to be blown through the motor, across the ends, against the sides, or what?  I have had no luck getting this information from Kollmorgen.

RE: air cooling Kollmorgen Servo Disc motors

It should be defined in their manual??? Did you try their website for info?

Grean Eggs & Ham - Keep calling them...tell them your going to return it if they don't help, that might work.

Take a look at my Direct Drives?
