Dumbing down a License

Dumbing down a License

Ok there is a way to dumb down your license in Windows and I cant remember for the life of me how to do it.

Like if you are running an AL2 you can turn it in to a MD2 if you wanted. If I remember correctly I know its done in Windows advanced tab somewhere. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thank you

RE: Dumbing down a License

Yes check, "my computer"/properties/advanced system settings (or system property)/advanced tab -> environment variables
OR
Use Catia's own Environment Editor (found in the start menu)

Create a variable and set it to ODT_SIMULATED_PRODUCT and the value AL2.slt=MD2.slt

if you use a text editor to directly change the Catia environment file add the line:
ODT_SIMULATED_PRODUCT=AL2.slt=MD2.slt

Thank you so much for this. I was going crazy trying to remember.
