RTJ Gasket Temperature Ratings

RTJ Gasket Temperature Ratings

Is there a standard that defines the temperature limitations for ring joint gaskets? ASME B16.20 does not list temperature ratings and there was nothing in the manufacturer's literature.

We have ASME B16.5 flanges, which define the T&P limitations for the joint, but we are evaluating other materials for the gasket.

Many thanks! I had looked at that catalogue before, but somehow missed that page.

Strange that they allow temperatures higher than ASME Sec VIII, but I guess gaskets have different rules.
