Soil data

Soil data

Soil data

(OP)
Does anyone know of a website where I can obtain data of soil borings, and ground water.  The area I am intrested in is coastal regions of New Bern North Carolina.

RE: Soil data

A lot of cities having geotechnical data on file at the city hall.  I would try there first.

If your intention is to use this data for design, then don't.  Geotechnical data which has been obtained for sites and designs other than for own should not be used unless a subsurface investigation is carried out by a geotechnical engineer for your site, then it can be used for comparison.  I strongly suggest obtaining a geotechnical engineer to do your soils investigation

RE: Soil data

For general info, talk to the well drillers in the area. For specific dat, do as Gibbcu suggests. Hire someone to get your data.
