Sketches with are being distorted

(OP)
Solidworks 2010 64x edition.

I am putting text in boxes and saving the sketch to a block. I then put the block into a sketch. In the drawing the text appears outside the block. I am not sure why this is happening and it is getting really annoying. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Thank you.

RE: Sketches with are being distorted

I've not seen this issue before, but it almost sounds graphical. What are your system specs?

I am not particularly sure what you mean by system specifications. I am running windows 7 if thats what you mean.

Well I did not come up with a way to make the blocks work but I thought about it and just did a drawing of the entire part with the text on it and then hid everything I didn't need. Apparently working with blocks is tricky and is hard to master.

What type of graphics card, and what driver version?

RE: Sketches with are being distorted

I do not use block much, but this sounds like the box is being shrunk from its original size and the text is not. Probably the text is retaining its attribute of font size.
