Helix moves after OKing the feature

Helix moves after OKing the feature

Helix moves after OKing the feature

(OP)
I created a helix, then I pressed the check mark for OK. The resultant helix (which I do not want) differs from the yellow preview helix. I do not understand why. It seems to displace itself along the helical axis. Does anyone know why this would be happening? I am trying to make a pattern that consists of moving in one direction, and rotating each instance a certain amount as the pattern propagates along the direction. For instance: 0m 0 deg, 1m 15 deg, 2m 30 deg, 3m 45 deg, etc.

Post the file so it can be interrogated.

Unfortunately the file is proprietary so I cannot share it. However, it seems that the displacement of the helix is visual only. I still created a helical pattern and it worked, with the helix putting itself back to where it should be, in that special case. It's weird and I think it's just a bug I'll have to deal with.
