Defining Young modulus as function of meas stress (pressure)

Defining Young modulus as function of meas stress (pressure)

(OP)
Hello all,
My materials is nonlinear elastic with a modulus of elasticity given as function of the mean stress or pressure ( given in table or equation format) .
How can I define the modulus of elasticity function in this case..?
Do I really need to use USDFLD.
I appreciate it if you can detail your answer in Steo-wise format.

Hi,

Yes you do.
The point is that you have to get stress values for each material point in an element.
To do it you have to use the subroutine.

Bartosz
