Base Plate Design for SCBF column

Base Plate Design for SCBF column

Base Plate Design for SCBF column

(OP)
Hi all,

I was designing a rectangular base plate (i.e. longer in the direction on brace frame) for a SCBF HSS column with net tension and shear. And was was wondering whether the base plate needs to be checked based on the interaction ratios for both these force components. In my case I have made sure that all shear and tension in resisted by anchor bolts. Any references or design examples would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance
