Exporting Abaqus Explicit stress to Abaqus Standard, undeformed mesh

(OP)
Hi everyone,

As my first complicated project in Abaqus I want to model HVOF coating process. Basically, I simulated the impact of a hot particle over a substrate. From Explicit, I obtained radial stresses in the susbtrate as an output. After few nanoseconds, substrate was deformed due to the impact, but the particle wasn't cooled wet. For computational reasons, after the impact I want to simulate the cooling of the particle in Abaqus Standard. However, I would like to export the stress in an underformed substrate. I didn't obtain good results using the Initial State option in Abaqus CAE. My option now is to define the stress as pressure load or equivalent. What procedure do you suggest?

Thanks.
