Seamless wire welding. How are we going to do this?

Seamless wire welding. How are we going to do this?

(OP)
We are going to have to make some stainless wire seals from stainless wire. We will need to weld the two ends together. I imagine this might be similar to chain welding. I am not sure if this is a process of using induction heating or what. The wire diam will not exceed .100" but need a good bond along with a deburring plan to remove extra slag from the joint. Wire should look seamless if we do it right.

Also, I would be open to subbing this to a company that has the ability but does not seem common among gasket and seal manufacturers.

RE: Seamless wire welding. How are we going to do this?

I think what you need is called upset butt welding.
It is most often a resistance heating method, but it can be done by induction heating.
