Hello,

Can someone please tell me how to interpret these callouts,

Thank you

RE: Edge Break callouts ISO

ISO 13715:2000 is what you need.

RE: Edge Break callouts ISO

The symbology on top means “Unless otherwise specified surface texture Ra 3.2 or better.” Any manufacturing process permitted. Additional different surface texture requirements may be specified on the drawing. More on the same matter see ISO 4287, ISO 4388, and ISO 1302.

The symbology on the bottom means “Unless otherwise specified: for internal edges passing (fillet) acceptable up to 0.3, undercut not permitted; for external edges acceptable undercut (chamfer or radius) must be between 0.1 and 0.5.” Additional different edge requirements may be specified on the drawing. More on the same matter see ISO 13715.
