How to define plastic hinges in frame members using API functions of SAP2000?

(OP)
I searched this board and found someone asked similar questions two years ago (but with no response). I take the liberty to ask the question:

How can we define plastic hinges in frame members (columns, beams) using API funcitons? I looked up in the function list but could not find a fuction for this purpose. In fact, I did find a funciton called "GetHingeAssigns", which gets the definition of as oppose to define plastic hinges. Besides, which API funciton should we use to extract plastic hinge responses?

Thanks!

RE: How to define plastic hinges in frame members using API functions of SAP2000?

Dear engtipline I came along with the same issue. I am basically trying to define the displacement control parameters of a plastic hinge and assign hinges to members. I found no replies on the forum so I opened a new thread:

I was just wondering if you managed to find a solution to this issue?
