AWS D1.1 H values for electrodes, for diffusible hydrogen

AWS D1.1 H values for electrodes, for diffusible hydrogen

(OP)
I am reviewing AWS D1.1, looking thru AWS D.1. to see where H values are listed, and I can't find it. I asked this on the welding blog, but no one replied.

This is a possible ICC S-2 welding exam question (from their sample questions), that quite a few PE's are taking to meet ICC and other sister ICC Codes requirements for signing-off structural steel construction.

RE: AWS D1.1 H values for electrodes, for diffusible hydrogen

A permissible level for diffusible hydrogen is not addressed in the body of D1.1.

The level of diffusible hydrogen diminishes over time as it effuses into the atmosphere.
