Draftsight slow after switching to 64 Bit machine

(OP)
I recently was switched to a 64 bit machine, and now am having problems with Draftsight running slow.
Like 2- 5 minutes to start and open a file. Has any one else experienced this?

RE: Draftsight slow after switching to 64 Bit machine

I
too have had the same problem. Have you found a solution?

RE: Draftsight slow after switching to 64 Bit machine

I also have the same problem. Has anyone find a solution so far?

RE: Draftsight slow after switching to 64 Bit machine

I rarely use Draftsight, but just did a quick test and both new and old files opened nearly instantly.

I suggest you uninstall & re-install Draftsight.

RE: Draftsight slow after switching to 64 Bit machine

(OP)
I have re-installed numerous times, even with the new 64 bit version.
I don't use this progaram very often and noticed that i do not have this problem with my HP laptop at home.
I do have the problem at work, running a Lenovo ThinkStation E30.

RE: Draftsight slow after switching to 64 Bit machine

I have a high spec 64 bit Dell at work and an recent 64 bit i5 laptop at home, both work fine.
