ZPL MACROS

Hi,

I would like if anyone could help me out or guide me........
I have designed the human eye in Zemax with it seems to be working fine but now I need that the radius and conic parameters change as I change the source thickness........Does anyone know how to go around?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Rob,

I do not need to use optimisation.....I just need to introduce a few equations in Zemax somehow so that when I change the distance (thickness)of my light source, the radius, refractive index, distance and conic parameters of surfaces 3 and 4 of my eye model also change accordingly.......This is an accommodated eye model, meaning that when the source change with distance, the eyes focus by changing curvature of the eyes. This is why I really need to do but I do not know how?

Many thanks for your email

Regards,

RE: ZPL MACROS

Personally I would drive the model with Matlab but if you want to use ZPL check out the manual specifically "Chapter 25 Zemax Programming Language" and "setsurfaceproperty" I hope this helps.

thanks a lot, i will try the setsurfaceproperty.
