CATIA v6 ENOVIA sync error

CATIA v6 ENOVIA sync error

CATIA v6 ENOVIA sync error

(OP)
Hi, I'm having some issues syncing a model in V6 with ENOVIA. I go to tools, sync with enterprise and an error message comes up that says "1 request processed, 1 request failed. failed to revise the object." Does anyone know what the issue is (other than presence of invalid characters like "%' etc.) Thank you for your help! Laura.

RE: CATIA v6 ENOVIA sync error

I'm no expert in V6 but when you sync you tie the catia object to the enterprise object. That enterprise object, enovia part, if not existing has to be created and that is done in the engineering central.... so I guess that you don't have the rights to do that, role/access not configured correctly... just a guess.... also I remembered something about a mapping table controlling the sync.... I can continue guessing but it all boils down to if the system is setup correctly and if your user is configured for this kind of work
