Looking for planetary gearbox

Looking for planetary gearbox

(OP)
Dear friends

My company is looking for a planetary gearbox supplier with products comply with the following specifications:

1. Power ranges from 2500KW to 10000KW.
2. Speed increaser
3. Input speed: 1500rpm and output speed from 4800rpm to 12375rpm

What I need is only the company names. I have been working on this for couple of months but with very limited feedback. Hope you guys can help me out.

Thank you

peterzgn,

Why does the gearbox have to be planetary?

Sorry mate. As you know, I got advice from the other thread to put a question here. I will not double post again.

To drawoh
The gearbox I am looking for is to be mounted to a motor without an extra foot stand. In other word, the gearbox needs to be supported by the motor so it has to be a planetary gearbox.

To Oldhydroman
Their products are for wind power industry and most of the time, their power are smaller than what I need. I couldn't get any further details about their products because I have contacted them for a month without any reply.

drawoh asks a good question. Why do you believe that a gearbox that meets your requirements must be planetary? It is possible to build a multi-branch parallel shaft gearbox with in-line input and output shafts, with the gears and shafts arranged symmetrically in a round gear case. The power density of such a gearbox would at least equal that of a planetary gearbox of the same rating.

Also, it would not suffer from the load sharing problem inherent in the planetary type. For an excellent article on that subject, see the August 2012 issue of GEARSolutions magazine: "Epicyclic Load Sharing Map". This article is a reprint of AGMA Paper #11FTM05.
